Silver Islet to Rossport: Classic Superior Northshore
It is one of the jewels of wild Lake Superior shoreline, not a park but a mix of private and Crown land. We’ll travel upwards of 15 miles day mixing crossings with island hopping, sheltered back bays and open exposure.
Beaver Island Archipelago
not appropriate for first-time paddlers (remember, we're in the middle
of Lake Michigan), this is a relaxed pace trip that offers some great
exploring to nearby Garden and High Islands, some opportunities to learn
surf paddling skills and a really fine camping experience.
Lake Superior Provincial Park
Some of the finest paddling to be found in North America is within 6 hours drive of most of Michigan here along Lake Superior’s North shore. You can see pictographs from the seat of your kayak as you explore nooks and crannies, islets and bays.
Lake Superior Expedition Course
Have you ever wanted to know how to plan and carry out your own expedition style kayak tour? This is a great opportunity to develop tripping skills in context far beyond what you can get in symposium settings.

Shores of Killarney

us for a long weekend paddle across from St. Ignace to a really sweet
little campsite on a small public island, giving us opportunities to swim
in the calm bay, explore other nearby islands and maybe even do an evening
paddle over to Mackinac island, exchange our booties for dancing shoes
