In our Bonaire travels we learned of an affliction called PBD (Post
Bonaire Depression). We believe that PRD is an equally potent case of the
blues.
We miss a beautiful piece of paradise called Roatan. Thank you for a
wonderful week.
I've never has gourmet meals prepared especially for
me for a
solid week.
I've never had my room cleaned by an army of ants.
I
miss our
resident gecko singing me to sleep and greeting me each morning with
friendly
chirps.
I miss picking a banana whenever the mood strikes.
I've
never seen a
boa constrictor outside of a cage or an octopus outside of an
aquarium or
starfish too numerous to count.
I've never seen a wild tarantula or
a monkey
lala or even a hummingbird light on a branch.
I've never enjoyed fresh
coconut candy in a thatched hut over the water or had piccata on a
tropical
cay.
I've never been ferried in a lorry or paddled the "high" seas.
I miss
not having a thing to do after dinner except to go to bed.

teacher
from South Carolina and her best man.

Reef Kayaking Lodge Week, Roatan, Honduras
Hi Michael,
I wanted to convey my thanks and appreciation for the outstanding weekend Nancy provided during my first foray into the sport of kayaking. The weather was perfect, the scenery was excellent, the wildlife abundant (a pair of Bald Eagles), the fireworks display vibrant (ask Nancy about the story), the cuisine was excellent and fulfilling (excellent job with the marinated chicken and thanks to Nancy’s homemade desserts), and in short, it was as perfect as perfect gets. Nancy’s instructional technique was easy to follow and clearly demonstrated a commanding knowledge and professionalism consistent with everything I have come to learn about your company. Her incremental approach to instruction and reassuring especially during our “planned escape”.oh, I mean “wet exit”. There is no better learning opportunity then to discover a sport with someone that truly enjoys teaching as well as participating in a sport.

We’re back to normal, back to work and wishing we were back north. We both really enjoyed the trip. …I was describing our weekend with you and (our friend) was to see that we had decided to pursue an instructional approach before heading out on our own because “everyone’s a expert if they’ve been in a boat”…We valued the experience not only for what we learned, but also for what we figured out about ourselves…There’s no question that spending the weekend with you gave us the confidence to spend a rental day on the lake if is a calm day. We’re thinking we will probably spend some more time with you before we get too cocky though! So, good food, good company, great weekend…we’ll be in touch again.
